Service Process
Step One: Consultation
This is a complimentary service where I determine your hair goals, we run through what option is matches your lifestyle and I colour match. I will quote and take a deposit for your hair extensions, as well as give a time estimate for the duration your install appointment.
Step Three: Install
On arrival, I do three cleansing washes to remove oils and any build up. Then blow-dry hair smoothed to it’s most natural state before starting application. The time this process takes varies on the amount of hair being installed, however allow 2-3 hours.
Step Two: Customisation
On arrival of the hair, I will start preparing for install. I cleanse the hair using saging rituals. I pre-blush the colours together to create a personalised and organic colour blend.
Step Four: Aftercare
Ensure you are using an extension safe brush. Avoid oils on the scalp and ensure that your hair care (shampoo and conditioner) is hydration and moisture based not protein based (protein based products will break down the bonds). Treat your hair how you would naturally, follow your normal washing routine and I recommend braiding before bed or being active to avoid matting. I will run through specifics at the end of your appointment.
Step Five: Removal Process
This appointment typically takes 1-2 hours. I will carefully remove each individual bond with the specialised removal gel designed to break down the bond and removal tool. This process is just as important as the installation as we want to make sure we maintain optimal hair health and avoid any damage.
